Meditation has been such a powerful gift in my life of busyness. Thanks to this practice, I have found myself taking a breath in a moment that allows me to respond without my previous always reacting. I see myself taking responsibility for my wellbeing and being so much more present.
It's been astonishing to notice how much and how often my mind wandered during the sessions and the invitation to bring it back felt quite powerful. I got that the mind can be reigned in.
These past 19 mornings and evenings have been such a blessing, realizing that even in this wholly unfamiliar, yet essential practice of simply learning to be present through focussing on my breathing, I am learning to connect with the powerful life force inside of me.
It's made a huge difference having these 2 daily sessions frame my day. I'm learning to be present in the "this now". It's been scary to be vulnerable and open to such unfamiliar practices but it felt quite safe to engage.

I realized how noisy the world was (as I sat on the balcony) even without me talking and it gave me some space for myself in it. Thank you!!!

🌟🌞✨🔥that was very beautiful and profound. when you started out the meditation and asked us to look at our flames, noticing how it radiated light - and how EVERYTHING in this world needs light to live - i had such a huge overwhelming realization. i could hear you speaking to both sides: the physical material logical world (photosynthesis and the need for sunlight for growth) and the metaphysical (the light of our consciousness) and how we NEED to give more presence and focus and attention to the light within us than the darkness in order to grow and expand and become more of what we are capable of.

I am now calmer and less judgemental
I always knew that I could dislike people I know, but it wasn’t until meditating in this group that I learnt that I can love people I don’t know!
Be more realistic in goals I always try overachieve and get left sense of I’m not good enough, made me present to few items and sense of achievement.

I have definitely had a big shift in my sense of peace and acceptance. I'm going through 2 separate tough situations at the moment, and this challenge has helped me to see them from a different perspective. I am not allowing myself to be taken over by outside forces/events.
