We begin not only a new year, but also a new decade! On reflection, the past year was richly; intensely full of questioning, challenging, pushing, missioning, juggling and all that comes from the many hats I am sure you all wear.
I had a laugh at myself recently when I contemplated the many hats that I wear in my life. We are all truly multifaceted and life is at its core a game. It is a wonderful game for some, a nightmare for others. How our lives unfold, for the most part is a mystery.
What I know from my own journey and self-work is that each hat I wear, I do so with such joy, enthusiasm and curiosity.
It is a constant dance between playing Mother and wife to manufacturer, designer, gardener, animal handler, developer, psychologist, healer, visionary, lover, teacher, student, daughter, facilitator, artist, advocate, writer…and the list goes on!
I invite you to reflect on all the hats you wear in your life and how each one plays its part in the threads of what makes your life uniquely yours.
AN AWESOME 20-MINUTE OPPORTUNITY TO CONSOLIDATE
I was inspired to do a short exercise and invite you to take literally 20 minutes to do this for yourself.
On a piece of paper or in a diary, write down each and everything that you can remember as landmarks to each year in your life starting from 2010. I was so intrigued by how many things I had forgotten, and then also to see how many experiences have informed the ones that followed.
What a fun way to wrap up the past 10 years of life. And in so doing, open up the space in your heart and mind in being more directed about the way you wish to be and the life you want to have for the next decade.
STEPPING INTO LOVE
For the past 4 years transformational coach Shelley Ruth Wyndam, www.shelleyruthwyndam.com has facilitated our Full Moon gatherings each month, hosted in our Tipi around a fire. Each evening has been an amazing opportunity to step into the heart and Soul of You. 2019 was marked by the theme of “love”. Not the romantic love that might come to mind, but the deep love that we are called to reconnect within ourselves and out into the world. May we all travel through 2020 and beyond with a greater commitment to union of both head and heart.
Thank you for another magnificent article. Where else may anyone get that type of information in such an ideal approach of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such info.
